Need to replace HP Laserjet 2605dn. Considering HP Color LaserJet Pro M255dw (AirPrint compatible). San someone (a user?) confirm using AirPrint on an M1 iMac OS 14.4.1 will gice a good range of print features like duplex, printing page selection, etc? Anyone encountered problems adding an HP printer to a WiFi network via WPS?

Well, I found this HP support page, clearly showing support for macOS 14 Sonoma:

You need to install the HP Smart app; it will in turn install the driver.
Airprint is a great and useful feature but it does not support all features of all printers. If the new printer you are considering has its own driver that would be the best way to ensure your ability to use all of its features.
MartinR, Thanks for the reply. Alas HP has not rleased a driver for this printer and it is 6 mo. since Sonoma was released. I wonder if they ever will.
