Deleted eSIM and now my phone isnt working

I had an eSIM on my phone for a 10 day trip and deleted it yesterday. It’s still technically active but I no longer needed it so I deleted it.

However, now my imessages are only sending and receiving from my Apple ID, and I cannot send text messages. I’m connected to my carrier but even if I look under ‘phone’ or ‘messages’ in settings, it doesn’t list my phone number.

I’ve done a full factory reset of my phone, contacted my carrier and they haven’t said anything looks wrong, HELP.
