thanks for the info. I upgraded my comcast gateway which would not connect to my Airport Extreme, with an Airport Express extender. Comcaast was no help, and Apple was offminimal help by providing old instructions as Airports are no longer made or supported by Apple. I caved and used the Comcast Gateway this morning and got internet working and all devices connected. The comcast gateway seems to be as good and maybe better than my old Airport configuration.
