How to hardwire my android phone to iPad 10.5 inch for internet connection…

I want to use and connect my android phone to my iPad 10.5 inch by Hotwire so that I don’t have to have 2 SIM cards ( saving money) … at the moment I am using the portable Wi-Fi hotspot connection but it gives me problems sometimes so I would rather connect with a cable but I can’t find a cable that does it (or does it even work that way) ( I use the iPad with phone connection coz browsing is better for videos etc )

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

Presumably you are currently using the WiFi hotspot of your Android phone to provide an internet connection for the iPad - but would prefer to use a wired connection between these two devices

You will need to verify that your Android phone is capable of providing a wired hotspot connection - and if so, identify the type of USB connector on the Android phone. With benefit of this information, to connect to your iPad Pro 10.5", you will require an appropriate Lightning to USB cable.

IF your Android phone has a USB-C connection, you would require a Lightning to USB-C cable:

  • USB-C to Lightning Cable (1m)
