How to get back the News widget

Apple support confirmed that the widget is now only supported in Canada, the US, the UK and australia. They advised me to share my feedback on this via the following link; https://www.apple.com/feedback/apple-news/

if enough people do that it might return.

How to get news feed to give correct country news? Hi, I recently switched my Apple ID from the UK to Canada as part of my move. I then subscribed to News+. On my iPhone, I had to delete the old Apple news app and download it from the Canadian store for it to start giving me Canadian news instead of UK news. However, on my Mac, this option is not possible. You can't delete the app. All of my Mac's region settings are set to Canada. I've tried restarting the app/computer etc. Nothing seems to fix it. I keep getting news about the UK, even though my iPhone perfectly displays Canadian news. Any ideas?

How to get rid of American-centric stories on Apple News on iphone? I’m Canadian, my region is set to Canada, yet my Apple News feed is smothered in American centric news stories. This has been especially annoying during the Olympics. I get that Apple is American but people from other countries want their own news. How do I get Canadian centric stories/sources instead?
