Hi,
My Iphone got stolen and now I am receiving message from somebody who is trying to unlock my phone and pretending to be Apple. I have already gone to the police to report it. Is there something else that i can do or maybe you can do ? Also my family received the same message. What does that mean?

Apple does not get involved with stolen or lost phones.
Do NOT respond to the message. It is a scam that is trying to trick you into providing personal details so the bad buys can get into your phone and set it up again as a new phone for sale.
You will never see the phone again, but at least you can frustrate the bad guys by not responding to their requests to unlock the phone.

If you provided your contact information, that's how the thieves were able to contact you with those scam messages.
As others have said, IGNORE them. Don't give them what they need. They'll eventually give up, though don't be surprised if they resort to threats. Thieves get mad when they don't get what they want. They're scum at best.

If it had a physical Sim card in the phone, that's all the thieves need to get the information to contact the user.

I did provide contact information but not the ones who received the message.
