Unable to delete text Messages on iPhone

I can't delete a text message. I can delete all messages inside the text but the name is stuck at the top of my message app like it is pinned. I have checked the pin and its not pinned, I have deleted all the recently deleted messages. The message also has a date of 4/11/93. How do I get it to go away?! I have literally tried everything.
