The nano-texture glass is, as the name implies, textured - albeit at a microscopic scale.
You may need a special cloth to safely clean nano-texture glass. If I remember correctly, that was the case for the nano-texture glass option on standalone Apple monitors and on 27" 5K Retina iMacs.
