My Apple Wallet doesn't work when I tap on it

If you are just getting the Learn More popup, it usually indicates your iPhone is set to a country where Apple Pay is not supported. As such only passes, tickets and loyalty cards can be added to the Wallet App.

If you are in a country where Apple Pay is supported, make sure its correctly set in Settings ➜ General ➜ Language & Region ➜ Region.

Apple Pay must be supported by merchants banks and card issuers and must be allowed by the government in your country.

One or more of the mentioned entities have not supported or allowed it yet.

Apple really can’t do much in those cases.

It’s not just up to Apple. Banks, merchants, and most importantly, the government regulatory agency that oversees financial transactions, must give approval.
