I'm thinking about using an iPhone LiDAR scanner for my master's thesis, but I'm wondering if anywhere I can find more information about the specifications of this scanner? Is the only information shared only the fact that the LiDAR scanner is included in the PRO models?

I would not expect Apple to release any technical details about the LIDAR sensor unless they can use it for a means to show a competitive advantage. Other than that, there simply is no incentive for them to give up that information. No reason to show the competitors the cards in your hand.
Any particular reason it has to be the one in the iPhone? One from Sparkfun will at least have documentation:

In the article you provided, the authors describe the technical data of the scanner based on another article, and those based on another article, and so on.
I'm referring specifically to LiDAR on the iPhone because, I would like to determine its accuracy and determine what measurements the LiDAR on the iPhone can be used for. I have professional LiDAR laser scanners and surveying equipment for this task.
