Car play Echo issue Citroen c3

I am using CarPlay 1 in Citroen c3 (vehicle 1)and while in an active call with another person who’s using same vehicle 2(Citroen c3 aircross) carplay 2 I am able to hear my voice again back to me as echo

I tried with multiple phones like IPhone 12 Pro and 14plus with different networks also

  1. Check for Software Updates:
    1. Make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version. Updates often include bug fixes that might address CarPlay issues. Go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone.
    2. Check if there are any updates available for your Citroen C3's infotainment system. Consult your Citroen user manual or contact a Citroen dealership for instructions on updating the system.
  2. Adjust Microphone Settings: In your iPhone's Settings > CarPlay > [Your Citroen], try disabling "Reduce Noise" under Microphone. This setting might be causing audio processing issues.
  3. Restart Phone and Citroen System: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off your iPhone and your Citroen C3's infotainment system completely, then restart them both.
  4. Check Citroen C3 Microphone Placement: Make sure there are no obstructions near the built-in microphone in your Citroen C3. A blocked microphone can cause echoes.
  5. Consider Aftermarket Solutions: If none of the above solutions work, you might consider using an external microphone for CarPlay calls. These can be mounted on the sun visor or near the rearview mirror.
