Mac App store is broken - unable to review apps that i have

I purchased an app today (for my business)

My mac store is connected to my personal account.

Cannot review an app - there is no Review button other than Buy for $24.99. I already did that 😃

So what gives? Mr Apple, do i need to double-buy to review?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.2

Thank you for your help and links. It is now clear that Mac Store ONLY ALLOWS reviews from purchased buyers as here.



Since i bought the product directly from the developer's website, the review button is unavailable.



The support links you provided deal with physical Mac products like the laptop, phone OR problems with a specific app and it's development team (not the App store itself).


It is what it is. Apple is still pretty good but i was hoping to review a product. I wont double buy

As the Apple Apps Store is built into the Operating system


Sometimes, one needs to be creative when sending Feedback


Choose macOS as the Category >> Feedback Type >> " Other "

There is a Review Button.


I just tried write a review for an Application I purchased from the Apple Apps Store


The write a Review does not work


I do not know why so can not help in that regard

Then have a few suggestions ;


Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are PAID  Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues . 


 Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue
