iPhone SE not wirelessly charging

I have an an iPhone SE 2 and I bought a portable wireless charger and it won’t work. It charges for a few seconds then stops. It has worked on a friends wireless charger before but I bought one and it won’t work. I don’t think it’s a problem with the charger. I can’t find any portable wireless chargers that specifically say that they work with the se 2 so I just bought one hoping it would work. I don’t know what chargers work with the se or if there is any way I can use my phone with the charger I currently have. Please let me know.
