Can I use FCPX chapter markers in Vimeo?

Uploading a one hour film with about 20 chapter markers. I would like to NOT have to recreate these markers in Vimeo. Is there a way I can use my FCPX chapter markers in Vimeo?

All ears,

In Vimeo one has to remake the chapter markers in Vimeo ... though, I'm yet to confirm this, it does look like 'visually' one can SEE the FCPX markers when one adds the Vimeo chapter markers, only without any information attached ... just grey spacer blocks.

I know the Creators Best Friend route with YouTube does work fine.

Some codecs support chapters, those will export them if you select to include them with your export.

Not sure any social media platforms support it, though. I know YT doesn't. There's some workaround to export a chapter list or something for YT. But not sure if Vimeo does. I'd export a 10 minute clip with chapter markers, upload to Vimeo and see.

Hey BenB,

Did exactly that. Can't see any chapter markers. I know it works with YouTube, exporting an XML to 'Creators Best Friend' and bringing the resulting list into the YouTube setup for that video.

I'm trying to find out at Vimeo if there is any way to translate the FCPX chapter markers over, and not have to re-create them in Vimeo. Will report back when I find out.
