How to sync all the "flavors" of iCloud Calendar with a single Yahoo calendar?

On my iPhone (14, iOS 17.4.1), I have three color-coded "flavors" of iCloud calendar ("home", "work", and "family" - the latter shared with my wife). I also connected my Yahoo calendar, which I use when I'm on my PC (using a fourth color-code). (All have check-marks next to them when I look at the active calendars in the Calendar app.) Events added to the Yahoo calendar on my PC DO show up on my iPhone, in the appropriate color.

But I'm more likely to add new events on my iPhone. If I enter a new event on my iPhone and I specify to add it to the Yahoo calendar, it does indeed show up on the Yahoo calendar on my PC -- no surprise. But if I enter an event on ANY of the iCloud calendars, there's no syncing to Yahoo.

I could just ignore or delete the personal "home" and "work" calendars on my iPhone and use the Yahoo calendar for anything personal, but that still leaves the problem of getting things from the shared "family" iCloud calendar over to my Yahoo calendar. (It's really not helpful if my computer can't show me an event that my wife expects me to know about!)

I can't find any setting in the iPhone calendar app that would tell any of the iCloud calendars to sync with Yahoo. Do I need to "invite" my Yahoo ID to each iCloud calendar, even though the phone is already logged into Yahoo?

Thanks.

David -- Thanks. So that means, I think, that the only way to get an appointment made on one of my iCloud calendars to show up on my Yahoo tab on my PC, and vice versa, is to try to invite my Yahoo account to my iCloud calendar(s) and invite my iCloud calendar to Yahoo.

That only seems possible in one direction. I managed to invite my iCloud account to my Yahoo calendar, and verified it by putting a test appointment into Yahoo, and saw that it showed up on one of my calendars on my iPhone. However, when I invited my Yahoo account to an iCloud calendar, trying to "accept" says that I need to have an iCloud account -- I guess using my Yahoo email. (When I logged in using my main existing Apple ID, it said I couldn't sync.)

But if I create a new iCloud account with my Yahoo email (and it's not even clear how I could do it), that would require logging out of my main iCloud+ account on my PC that gives me access to my photos, etc. It's more useful to stay logged into my primary iCloud+ account, even if it means I can't invite my Yahoo address to the calendar.
