I recently purchased the iPad Air 5th gen. for my daughter graduating college. She wanted the Apple Pencil along with it. I installed a Zagg screen protector as well. So with that on, my daughter is not able to use the Pencil. Is this common or is there another solution? I feel I just wasted a perfectly good protector.

Go to your iPad's settings and adjust the Apple Pencil's sensitivity.
Make sure the screen protector is on correctly without any gaps or bubbles.
If these steps don't help, you might need a different screen protector that's made to work well with the Apple Pencil. Look for one that says it's "Pencil-friendly" or has "high touch sensitivity."
