Apple Pencil doesn’t work on some part of the iPad screen

The pencil doesn’t work on some parts of the ipad screen (see the photo) but it works if you use my hands. And this all happens to all applications even on the homescreen not on certain applications.

I have tried some tips such as

  1. Restart ipad
  2. My current Ipad is using ios 18.5 (latest)
  3. Remove the screen protection
  4. Cleaning the screen
  5. Removing the ipad case.
  6. Try with another apple pencil (even the 3rd party) and other nib/tip

Maybe there is a suggestion that can be done before I go to fix it to the expert. My iPad has never been pierced or dropped. By the way I use apple pencil gen 2 and ipad pro 11 3th gen

The issue that you illustrate is usually indicative of an iPad screen fault - that can only be resolved by repair.

You might would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad and Pencil. Here you will be in tne best possible place to explore your options for remedy:

Genius Bar Reservation

For practical purposes, in lieu of repairing and returning your own iPad, Apple usually exchange a faulty iPad for a renewed/refurbished iPad of the same model and specification.
