Can I charge my MacBook Air (15", M3, A3114) with a Type-C charger?

Hello Everyone!

I recently upgraded to a MacBook Air 15" (M3) and it takes a Magsafe 3 charger that I do not have with me at the moment and my laptop is low on battery.

I was wondering if it is okay to use a type-c charger temporarily until I get my charger later on.

Thank you for your time!

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.4

Charge your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro - Apple Support

You can charge over either USB-C or MagSafe 3. If you plug the Mac into multiple power sources, it will charge from only one power source – the one offering the most power.
