a few months ago I visited the Unicorn service center, an authorised service provider directly from apple for my iphone’s battery. It’s located in Andheri west, Mumbai, India.

Sajan there at the customer service desk is extremely rude with his colleagues first. He doesn’t respect female co workers around him, first. 2nd hygiene, he operates and comes in contact with hundreds of devices a day, unfortunately I've had to visit the store every 6 motnhs for some reason but thats alright b’coz I’ve mostly been satisfied with the service. But sajan has a cold everytime I visit the store and the sense of hygiene is 0. I had to change the battery for my i12 and my number was called out by him. I was told about the issues that my iPhone could have and was told if need be will let you know about the additional expenses and I agreed. He suggested that the skin on the back of my phone should be taken off should I? I said no problem but why? He proceeds to take it off and tell its to check if its cracked. My phone still shines as new since launch b’coz of that skin and my big case. Howvever he suggests he might need to take my screen gurd off if need be. I said np b’coz the skins off so why not but then I ask him. Which side will you open the phone from and he said the front glass is opened. He then proceeds to ask me if I have backed up my iohone coz they might reset it. I said yes and asked him will my files be opened if not? He proceeded do deny and said and I quote “We do not usually do that” well neither was my phone reset nor my screen guard was taken off. He wiped his nose off and kept using my phone. He had an i12 as well so he was shocked for me to still use it in that condition and kept upselling the new iPhones. I just told him, I’m here to fix the battery only, youve already changed a alot on my phone, just get the battery fixed and give it back. He agreed but no reset, no doing what they say, no privacy. I have confidential govt files which were pwd encrypted but if I take my pwd off on my phone you can access them for some reason and I mentioned it to him, reset it when you do start working on it. Well I am afraid that my files we opened and looked at and when I recently visit the store I am told that is trust issues😂, if they are professional enough they should know how imp privacy policies are for apple and there are professional words for it. Sajan left his chair and never came out until I left the store and I requested a manager, nobody was available. I am extremely upset with how that service center operates. The employee culture itself is negative and the seevice now is really annoying. Hygiene on the other hand, I’m glad I did not get to submit my mac to him this time I visited. I realised later when I saw opened my app and the file that shouldn’t show, showed first. If apples reading this, get back to me about this, we need to adress this issue, b’coz they can’t or won’t bring their manager to me.
