How do I get back the original boing boing text alert

When iOS 17 was released, Apple made some changes to tones available for iPhone calls and texts. If this tone is no longer available for a text tone, you can't get it back. But you can go out to the Tone Store in iTunes and buy a tone, which may resemble the tone you're missing? You'll have to pay for one, but at least you may be able to find one more to your liking. Otherwise, just choose from any of the other available text tones you have access to in Sounds for Text in Settings > Sounds.
