Creating a slideshow on iPad photos.

I am in the process of creating a slideshow on my iPad I would like to prepare a title slide at the beginning, possibly within the slideshow itself as well. I have been unable to find any instructions in the users guide that indicates this is possible, and the iPad photos app does anyone know how to go about doing this?

You could write or type something in Notes or in Pages, and then take a screenshot. I'd crop it to the same aspect ratio as your other slides so it fits in. You could even include small pictures in the text slides! Depending on the audience, it could be cute to hand write the text. Of course, you could just write on a piece of paper and photograph it.
