Screen sharing of Macbook and Ipad

Can someone help to figure out my problem. I have macbook air 2015 and previously it is high Sierra then I updated it to Monterey OS. I believe that screen sharing/mirror is not working in high Sierra that is why O update it to Monterey. When I am trying to use My ipad as my second monitor, it is still no working.

Screen sharing older iMac with MacBook Pro M4 chip Can you use simple screen sharing on your network to use a 2011 iMac 27" as a second display (mirroring) a 2024 MacBook Pro with m4 chip? If so can you walk me through it? Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro (2021 M1) Cannot Mirror Screen to iMac (late 2017) My MacBook Pro (2021 M1) cannot mirror screen to my iMac (late 2017) however the same iMac (late 2017) can screen share to the same MacBook Pro (2021 M1). How can I screen share from my MacBook Pro to the iMac so I can use it as a bigger screen.
