So whenever I go to click on DL or state ID to add to wallet, it shows the 4 states of Arizona, Colorado, Georgia and Maryland, but when I click on it, it shows a completely made up one called “mocktana” which doesn’t seem right.

Currently on 4 states, those listed, support adding Drivers License to Apple Wallet. The state legislature has to pass legislation to permit their Drivers License to be added to Apple Wallet.
Some states have passed legislation to develop their own electronic licenses. You may want to check with your state DMV to inquire about licenses and electronic wallets.
So after review, I had to turn location service on for wallet, and I was able to set it up. It finally showed the proper state. I appreciate all the replies.
Are you by chance running the public beta on your iPhone?

yeah, it says I can add it, but even if I click a different state, I only get mocktana, which doesn't sound like an actual state. I checked before I asked about it. it's just confusing why it shows that and not anything else.
The screenshot you posted states the 4 states that have to date approved Apple Wallet. The screenshot below also shows the 4 states.
I’m experiencing the same issue. I just had my id in there but due to damage I wanted to replace mine and when I go to re add it I get the same mocktana nonsense.
What state issued the ID?
