MacBook set-up: connecting to WIFI

Setting up a 2019 MacBook pro for the first time, and when it asks “how do you connect” WiFi isn’t an option. Which is strange because I am 2 feet from the router/modem, and the WiFi works just fine for my iPhone. I tried restarting the laptop and redoing the process, and I get the same result. How can I get my MacBook to connect to the internet?

update I was able to set up the laptop without WiFi, but now I am unable to turn on the WiFi. When I click “details” nothing comes up.

the spot in your second screenshot where the cursor is hovering is an enable switch, currently in the off left position.

To enable, drag the slide switch to the right on position and it should light up in color.
