Changed to a wholly new appleid, but want to keep app's data

Hi everyone:

I have an old Apple ID that I've been using for 12 years, recently I need to switch to a whole new Apple ID, that being said, I would like EVERYTHING on my phone to be associated to the new ID, leaving the least trace of the old one.

I fully understand that all purchases go with the ID, so I can accept re-purchasing apps and stuff. But about the apps and data I need some enlightments:

  1. There are apps no longer available in the app store, does it mean once these apps are deleted, I can never get them back (using the new ID, even with Mac/PC backup etc.)? Or if I want to keep them, I'll have to re-login the old ID every time things like subscription changes happen?
  2. Say I have a game: DoodleJump, does it mean that if I want to keep its records like highest jump height, I'll have to stick to the old ID?

Thanks.

Correct, those apps will no longer be available.

Yes

In general, creating a new Apple ID is not the best idea. You can instead change your Apple ID to keep all of your information and use a new Apple ID. Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

You will not be able to use the new Apple ID you created as the change an Apple ID record.
