Mailing a Contacts group

I've just had some chaos with my email provider login and things have changed. As a result, when I try to email using a smart group in Contacts, instead of opening an email window in Mail it tries to find my webmail on my browser.

Help please ...

Mail Won't Pick Up Addressees in One Specific Group When I try to send an email to one specific group in Contacts, my iMac does not pick up those addressees. I have to go to Contacts and click on Send an email to ... . It works fine on other groups. This may occur because, in trying to sync my groups with iPad and iPhone, I got duplicates. The duplicate of the specific group is empty, but I can't figure out how to delete duplicates.

Group E-mail issues using Icloud website. I am using to Icloud website to send Group Emails. I have a group of around 40 addresses. When I try to send an email to the group with an attached PDF it does not send. I get an error message back on each address. When I break the groups into smaller groups of 10 or less, the e-mail sends with no issues. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

In Mail>Preferences>General, what is default eMail Reader set to?
