No PartyBoost with two new JBL Flip 6 and Mac Mini

Picked up two JBL Flip 6 to pair with my Mac Mini the use "PartyBoost" so that we could listen to the same audiobook from anywhere in the home.

I can pair one of both Flip 6 to the Mini via bluetooth.

I can use either Flip 6 A or Flip 6 B by themselves alone.

I cannot use Flip 6 A and connect with Flip 6 B via "PartyBoost"

Mac mini, macOS 14.4

can you have more than two devices paired with Bluetooth at one time? I am having trouble pairing my Sony wireless headphones with my iPhone se as well as my iPad. But I can pair them with my iMac.

Solved: JBL Flip 4 and M1 Mac M1 Mac connects bluetooth to the Flip 4 speaker, but it doesn't show up in the list of sound devices you could choose (airplay). Solution for me was to use the JBL Portable App and turn on "speakerphone" mode. Then you have two devices in the bluetooth list, one identified as speaker and one not identified. But it then appears in the sound listings. Apparently if you don't do this, it doesn't register as a speaker. BTW, don't download the JBL Headphone and Speaker app. It's a scam. They got my credit card. 😡
