I got a spam pop up on my MacBook

I had pop up onmy macbook that i needed to call the number 844-**-**to unlock my computer. when i called they said it was micro soft. They said they would transfer me to apple. then i was ask to download ultra viewer at that point I started asking questions. I told them i would take it to the Apple Store and was told not to do that because they wouldnt know how to fix it. I did not download anything but im sure it was a scammer. any thing i should do about that?
