How can I find AirPods I forgot on Find My?

I'm in an annoyingly unique situation. My girlfriend left her airpods at home and I thought they were mine, but they weren't connecting. So I went to bluetooth settings and clicked "forget". But turns out I forgot my own airpods. Fast forward to me realizing they were my girlfriend's, and now I don't have my own airpods on my Find My. And, I can't find them in real life!

Is there a way to "unforget" airpods without pairing them directly, or at least find ones that you forgot on find my?
