Why am I having trouble logging into my iCloud account with my password on laptop but not on my phone. Just updated my password the other day and on my laptop it’s saying incorrect.

Did you have a look at the steps in this article, to make sure that the Apple ID password changes were made on each of your devices? In some cases you will have to sign out of your Apple ID in the settings for iCloud and sign in again after that:
