New internet and I forget my password on MacBook!!

I haven’t used my laptop in a long time so naturally I forgot the password and to top it off, I changed my internet company, so need to change my WiFi and I am lost!! Can anyone help, please?!?

Here is what to do: If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support


if there’s nothing saved on this Mac, you can factory reset it: Erase and reinstall macOS - Apple Support


If you choose to reset and reinstall, use Option-Command-R when booting recovery, as that’ll get the newest macOS supported with your Mac.


Here is how to: Connect your Mac to the internet using Wi-Fi - Apple Support


Your ISP will need to provide you with the Wi-Fi network (SSID) and password used with your equipment. That info is almost always included with the paperwork provided by the ISP.
