Connect to wifi from login screen after setting up new macbook

I recently bought a macbook pro and was going to set it up, But when it prompted me to sign in to apple ID i tried and then it said the apple Password was wrong. So i changed my password and went to try to sign in, but instead of the password prompt, it showed me the login screen, and i Have tried every password i thought it could be but its not letting me login. And still doesn’t connect to the wifi. Is there a way i can get it to go back to factory settings to try again or am i screwed? Its now locking me out for too many failed attempts but i have no idea what the password could be .

I got it! i had to use the MAC password i created vs using my apple ID password. which really confused me and made this so scary because i just got it and was excited about using it but lost all excitement when i got locked out of it lol
