How can I update my phone number for AirTags activation?

So I’ve recently added more AirTags to my crew. I’ve also changed my number… when activating a new AirTag my old number always come up although I’ve changed it through my iCloud and Apple account.

i don’t have access to this old number so I hate that it’s the one chosen…
