How can I get apps to appear on the blank side of a split screen?
I can split the screen but there are no apps on the blank side. How do I get apps to show there

Before you click and hold on to the green traffic light of the application you select for the left half of the screen, have the other application open. Once you have the left application set to split-screen, you only need to pass your pointer over the remaining application. A blue border will surround it and you just click to join.
