Macbook Pro 15 (2018) only booting in safe mode
Hello everybody,
I have a Macbook Pro 15 (2018) which suddenly did not boot. It showed the Folder with a question mark. I was able to enter recovery mode and disc utility. It did not show the internal SSD. After a quick search on google i saw this macbook has the SSD installed on the motherboard and came to the conclusion it's done for.
Now a few months later i tought i'd give it a try again. Bought an external SSD and tried to install it on the eSSD. Installing Sonoma failed a couple of times mid installation, i think of overheating because it became very hot. Though after a few attempts it succesfully installed Sonoma but i was not able to boot.
When i press the power button it will start and show the Apple logo and loading bar. When the loading bar is between 50% and 99% it crashes, the fans will blow full for 1 second and then it reboots. It will stay in a boot loop.
I've executed several SMC, PRAM and NVRAM resets.
Apple Diagnostics says there are no problems.
I am hower able to boot in to safe mode. And it keeps running, though after 30 minutes the MBP turns kinda hot. I was also able to retrive a kernel panic log. But there stops my knowledge.
Can anybody tell me if its worth repairing this MBP?
