My MacBook Pro is overheating with no diagnostic errors
***edit: I have tried resetting the smc, pram and nvram***
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with the touch at and two thunderports. About one month ago the Touch Bar would light up on and off but the controls still worked just not the light. Last week it started to restart out of nowhere. I would logon and it would restart in about 10 minutes. I have ran the apple diagnostics and it said everything was fine. I also ran the disk utility tool in the recovery mode and it was saying there was an error in one of the drives. I couldn’t get it to fix no matter how many times I ran it. I ended up deleting that disk partition which ended up being my OS. I couldn’t get it to reinstall the OS because it kept restarting while it was downloading. I took the back off, first time since I bought it, and sprayed some air through the fan to clean it out. After I put everything back together I was able to reinstall the system but it kept doing the same thing. The only error report I was getting was Sleep Wake failure in EFI Failure. I was getting that code before I erased the OS also. Apple quoted me 682 dollars just for parts to fix it saying they would replace internal parts and the battery. I do not think that is necessary because I am able to turn it on.
