Can I uninstall Quarkexpress?

Hello,

I'm using an old iMac 2012 on 11.7.10 and I'm really short on storage on my Main HDD (128GB) so I'm trying to save up some space for my computer to run better.

I realized that one of the largest app installed is the QuarkXpress 9.

If i go and uninstall it (using CleanMyMac) will it affect my system in any way?

I'm a Music Studio engineer, so I'm only using Cubase, no photo/video editing apps or anything else.

If I can save some space it would be great. If it will affect my system, I'll leave it as it is.

CleanMyMac may or may not fully remove Quark and could potentially remove other important files that could brick other applications. This is why we discourage using it and CleanMyMac X.

Contact Quark support and ask them how to fully (and safely) remove their application.

Are there other large files that you can move to external storage if you continue to need QuarkXpress 9?
