I erased the recording off my iPhone. Is there anyway to get it back?

I lost my recording. I did that greet tap where the iPhone goes blank and a records and my wife erased it double times but I texted to Buddy, but only it was a 2 1/2 hour recording, but only like four minutes went through then it stopped is anyway we could retrieve it because I texted usfew times but we never got the full recording.
