How can I enable Haptic Feedback in Apple Notes when it remains turned off?

when I squeeze the haptic feedback works but nothing happens.im testing this in the apple notes app, im aware procreate hasn’t done an update yet. In settings, it’s turned off I go to pick any other setting and it remains turned off. I can’t turn it on at all in settings. Repairing, rebooting doesn’t help. The same is with tap setting, will not let me turn it on for the life of me. Any help?

I keep seeing others saying they are having these issues but I haven’t had them. Curious when you set up your iPad did you do it from a backup on your computer or did you do it from iCloud backup or using the old device near by? I only ask because everyone I have asked did either the iCloud backup or the device nearby. I did like I always do and backup my old device to my MacBook Pro and then use that method to setup my new one. I don’t know if going that route is why I don’t tend to have a lot of the bugs people experience but I wonder if the backup option used might cause some of the bugs people get. I assume you are on iOS 17.5. If you feel like restoring your iPad with a backup on your computer like MacBook or if you have iTunes on a PC you can try it there. Otherwise contact Apple directly for some trouble shooting.

That’s interesting. Yeah it was transferred via my previous iPad sitting next to the new one. I’ve never used your method because I don’t luke my phone, Ipad, and mac to share pics and podcasts and whatever else unless I manually airdrop it. Can you back up an iPad without mixing it into the Mac’s own memory/backup. And yes I am completely up to date with iOS.
