Apple Pencil USB C charging problem

Love and use my Apple Pencil everyday but since the day it was purchased (sometime in December) it doesn’t charge past 97%-98%. This has happened every time I charge it. Even after leaving it in a charger overnight it still won’t go past that limit. Should I worry about this? If so what do I do?
