SD Card adapter not working

My Apple SD card reader has suddenly stopped working.

It is being recognised on About menu but I don’t see any photo import option neither in photos nor in Files app. I used to import them straight to Lightroom and it isn’t being recognised through there too. It’s really frustrating, I’ve tried doing everything but nothing works. One day it was fine and then suddenly next day it doesn’t work anymore…

I recommend taking it to your local Apple Retail Store with the original receipt for an exchange. 👍🏼

The good news about the Apple Retail Store is that the friendly specialist can look up your purchase to qualify you for an exchange. 😉

Unfortunately I am abroad now so have no way to return it. But I do plan to go to Apple Store when I find one to ask if they might help in any way.
