To connect wired headphones to an iPad with a USB-C port, you will require an appropriate USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack adapter.

  • Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter

You might alternatively consider a third party alternative - such as Satechi. This Adapter allows simultaneous connection of both your headphones and your iPad's Power Adapter:

Some USB-C hubs also include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
