2024 emails have disappeared from apple mail anyone know how to restore them on my apple phone?

I have read that if you are running your emails off of a IMAP server, not POP, that if you delete the individual email accounts and re-enter them in Mail they will down load again along with the Folders you created in Mail.

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.

Which email account are you referring to? Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other (Refer to the pic )below

1. Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
2. If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
   1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
   2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you

Who is your email provider? Have you checked your webmail portal to see if they appear there?

I have the same thing. It started on May 11 1024 and still today I have not gotten my emails back. The engineer team supposedly working on it. What I been told is the more people report this the faster this will be resolved. If I were you I would call Apple asap and report it. The problem is most people try to resolve it themselves and ends up making a bigger mess. Just report it!

Please call apple support as this is a world wide issue since April 2024. I have lost emails from 2024 to 2015.

Wait for the update September 16th. I am in the same boat. It’s been going on since may 11th. But this issue started back in April.

I have almost 10 years of email missing. Please report this to apple support. The more people report the same issue the faster they can find a solution.

I just had the same issue occur yesterday. All my emails before 2pm yesterday vanished from the inbox of my iPhone, MacBook and icloud account. Several years of emails. Spoke to apple support who said they are aware of the issue and told me to check back in a few hours. Still nothing.

I know at first I was angry because this is apple however as weeks has gone by and I get a call twice a week from my engineer to get updates. We have cloned my phone it is frustrating however I was told September 16 new IOS should be able to repair or resolve this issue. If not then it’s the phone itself. But it’s most likely the servers are not communicating with each other and the phone can be apart of it too.

at this point call apple tell them other people have the same. My issue has been going on for 18 weeks. Trust me I am so over technology by now. To many breaches that effects email accounts with personal information. That tells you things have to be strengthen to preserve information that is floating around the iCloud.

Mine too. Since may 11th I lost over 15 months worth of my emails. It’s been two weeks and zero help from apple. On the email app I have emails missing since June 2019 until today. Now that’s a screw up on apple!

Did you contact your apple ? If so what did they say to you? It’s funny it’s been 2 updates in 72h but not the email server. Keep us updated because it would be amazing if the genius staff could resolve this matter in hours not weeks.

Same- all gone up to 2019. Do you have an update? And emails for record and everything- vanished. And from the main server of Mac mail too. distrusting to say the least and not sure next steps. Is this a known issue?

I am having since 07/09/24 the same issue: all gmail messages on Apple Mail from 2014 to 2024 are gone! But I still can see the messages dated 2013 and before.

By chance, all messages are still visible on Gmail App.

Have some of you finally solved the issue ? I will in any case write to Apple support.

this issue is more complicated then everyone here is talking about. I been working with a a big apple team since may 11th.

My iCloud and email app has years and different periods of time missing. This is a much larger issue. I told engineer what apple users are talking about here. He keeps saying you have to report this issue. The more people that report the faster they can see this problem on apples end.

I was told that the new update might have the solution for the emails and Apple email server.
