Messages older than 1 year not getting deleted automatically

Hi,

I have set my iPhone messages over 1 year to be deleted, but over the last 2 weeks, the messages older than a year have not been deleted. I tried resetting the messages to Forever and back to 1 year but to no use. I am currently running iOS 17.5.

Deleted message option not available on iPhone 11 Hi just wondering if anyone can help me on why reviving deleted messages isn’t an option on my iPhone 11 it is updated to ios18 so has later than 16ios. can anyone help with how to bring it up as an option. when I click edit in messages it only has options.. select messages, edit pins and set up name & photo

How to delete Messages permanently? After you delete your messages, it deletes, but it stays on records for 40 days. How do I delete it immediately so it doesn’t stay [Re-Titled by Moderator]
