I cannot uninstall wps from my Sonoma 14.4.1

I recently downloaded WPS on my MacBook. Now I can't seem to get rid of it. It keeps popping up like a spam add and I can't delete it from the application folder either. Kindly guide.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.4

To remove WPS Office from a Mac, you can follow these steps:

  1. Close any WPS Office applications that are currently running.
  2. Drag the WPS Office application icon from the Applications folder to the Trash. You can find the Applications folder by opening a Finder window and selecting "Applications" from the sidebar.
  3. Next, you should also remove any associated files that may be left behind. To do this, open Finder and click on "Go" in the top menu bar. Then select "Go to Folder..." and enter the following path:
  4. ~/Library/Application Support/
  5. Look for any folders related to WPS Office (such as "WPS Office" or "kingsoft") and drag them to the Trash.
  6. Still in the "Go to Folder..." window, enter the following path:
  7. ~/Library/Preferences/
  8. Look for any files related to WPS Office (such as files starting with "com.kingsoft" or "com.wps") and move them to the Trash.
  9. Finally, empty the Trash to completely remove WPS Office from your Mac.

After following these steps, WPS Office should be completely uninstalled from your Mac.

If this does not work - reach out to the Developer for details on removing their Application
