network card priority on iMac

I have connected a 2.5Gig USB C network adapter to my 2020 iMac, this works fine. My issue is if I connect the WiFi then the WiFi becomes the prefered network card. Obviously this is much slower than the wired connection.

I want to use the WiFi for watch unlock and copy paste from other Apple devices but the connection to the SAN and internet I want to go over wired.

There is no way to reorder the devices in control panel.

The iMac is on the latest version of everything too.

Any help gladly received

Ok resolved the issue.

From Networks in control panel, select the ... pulldown at the bottom of the right pane.

Select: Set Service Order

A window pops up which allow you to drag drop the order of the priority.

The built in Ethernet was above the Wifi but the USB C adapter was below.
