Apple Watch can’t connect to Matrix gym equipment after 10.5 update.

Since the 10.5 update, tapping any of the Matrix machines at Planet

Fitness no longer connects the watch. Can anyone else confirm?

I’ve tried it on multiple types of equipment and it’s the same each

time — the machine beeps as it detects the watch but then nothing

happens.

I’ve tried restarting and I’ve tried toggling “Detect gym equipment” off and on.

Issue is FIXED with 10.6 Apple update! Updated my watch yesterday and machines connected perfectly. Apple issue, not Matrix!

I haven’t even seen where they acknowledge that a problem exists. But I did turn off the auto update feature in the watch. Also of unfortunate note, the technicians don’t read the threads. So you have to submit an online ticket. How out of touch with the consumer could you get? For the record, the standard ‘canned’ advice provided by others ie. forced reboot, toggle and toggled the auto detect gym equipment is generic and not applicable here. There was info floating around about Matrix needing to update their equipment firmware. That seems to be simply ‘passing the buck’.
