Is my MacBook Pro 13" Early 2015 worth paying for a repair?

I have a MacBook Pro 13" early 2015; 2.7Ghz Dual-Core Intel Core i5; with 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3: Question = is it worth service and tune up, or should I trade in for a new laptop?

I have no idea what is a "tune up"(?) It either works or it does not.

Your mac is 9 years old, you do not say what is the issue... if it is hardware I would say no.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

Computers are not like cars. They don't get tune ups or regular service by their manufacturers.

If there is something specifically wrong, Apple may look at it and fix it.

If there is nothing really wrong, but maybe its just running a bit slow, then post an Etrecheck report, and someone here may be able to help you get it working o.k again.

Outside if that, any assessment of weather something is worth doing, would require knowing what needs to be done. Tell us exactly what's wrong, or what you thing Apple can do, and maybe we can tell you if its worth it.

But yes, at almost 9 years old, it may be time to consider a new computer regardless of what is wrong.
