How to remove McAfee from my MacBook
How do I remove mcafee when no files are in the app folder for this program

Apparently the app has already been removed or it would still be in the Applications folder. That said, however, Mcafee still leaves various parts of itself scattered throughout your Mac. You might try doing a find command (Command + F keys) and then selecting and deleting the remaining pieces of the app. The alternative is to reinstall the app and then use Mcafee's uninstaller app to do a complete removal.
