Speech on mouse over

wherever the mouse scrolls over there is a voice over on the Mac Mini. Voice is turned off

Fixed it. Under settings/accessibility/spoken content there is an option speak item under the pointer. This was on.

Voiceover off but mac narrates Hi! please can someone help me, I am at work and my MacBook keeps narrating but voice over is off. I tried to mute it but my job requires me to show videos and present so I cannot have it totally muted. I have restarted it but there is still the narration. Thank you

Voice over won't turn off on my Mac mini Somehow Voice Over became activated on my Mac Mini and now everything my mouse passes over is spoken by my computer. I have tried to reboot, tried to turn it off in Accessibility settings (it doesn't show that it's on), tried the hot keys (command-F5) and even updated the OS (currently 14.3.1). It won't stop. It's very annoying, especially when I'm on a zoom call and others hear it (I can't mute the computer speakers when I'm participating in a zoom). I'm ready to just throw the computer in the trash.
